Hi, I’m Dustin Burdin. This publication provides my careful consideration at the intersection of Ethics, Culture, & Theology. I provide a research driven, logically sound, & Christian moral perspective on moral & cultural issues.

My goal is to encourage informed reflection on questions and issues realted to the field of Ethics, moral concerns, and Western cultural issues, while demonstrating how Christian moral theology helps answer them.

My other goal is to educate people on ethical and cultural issues and teach them how they can morally reason through these questions and issues.

A Little About Me

I’m an Adjunct Professor of Ethics at Midwestern Baptist Theological Serminary where I am also a residential Doctoral Fellow. I am ABD towards my PhD in Ethics. I currently serve as the Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church in Webb City, Missouri. I’m also the Editor of the Missouri Baptist Apologetics Journal (forthcoming Fall 2026). 

Speaking & Workshops

I serve as an Apologist/Ethicist with the Missouri Baptist Apologetics Network and provide presentations, trainings, and workshops to equip Christians on a range of ethical topics such as: Dealing with cultural moral issues, Biblical ethics, homosexuality, transgenderism, Ethics for Apologetics, abortion, end-of-life ethics, and more.
