Why should we care about a man from probably 4,000 years ago? What can we learn from him that helps us Christians in the present day? Hebrews wants us to see how Melchizedek's greater priesthood paved the way for Jesus to offer us a greater priesthood and an eternal salvation. We also learn about the infinite wisdom of God.
